Wandering Uterus Tour
In 1999, Marty McConnell, Andi Strickland, and Heather Gawronski created an all-female performance poetry troupe called “The Morrigan” and set out on the first of three groundbreaking cross-country Wandering Uterus Tours.
Now, ten years later, Marty and Andi have reunited to co-found Vox Ferus, and are taking to the road again with the Wandering Uterus Tour 2009, bringing with them two fresh new female voices.
From June 15 through July 4, 2009, the Wandering Uterus Tour rides again, fusing ferocity with wit and craft, producing a volatile mix of politics, passion, and poetry on stages across the country.
